How do you get lower fairing off 14r? Damn this sucks!

Don't know why they needed to change that. I don't mind lookin at a few bolts!

Take off pitchforks, inner fairings, take out the bolt under inner fairings holding the lower on (silver bolt on my bike). Take out the plastic rivets under the headlight adjacent to the lower fairing, and the other 3 or 4 on lower fairing by vents. You have to move the rubber out of the way by the pitchforks (there is a plastic rivet or 2 in that area), take out the 2-3 bolts hidden by the pitchforks and slide the lower forwards then disconnect turn signal connector... Lower fairing should be off...

Watch the above video. Take your time. They are a pain in the nutsac but they do come apart.

You have to take them off all in one unit .. Once you have the hole side off you can remove the lowers .. They are screwed on from the back side ..

once you take the complete side fairing off a couple of times it's really very easy and quick.
