Internasional service from Guhl unacceptable
Would like to know if anybody else has had this bad service from Guhl. Our bike dealer/tuner has send my brothers ZX 14R ECU to flash from South Africa. They have had this ECU for 2 weeks at Guhl with no proper feed back from Don who told the tuner the ECU would leave the USA last week.This company just dont respond on call's or email.
Any advise ?

Don't call or email then.... Mine was sent to him on Wednesday and I had it back in my hands on Saturday (Yes literally 3 days later), maybe he is on vacation or something... Did you put tracking on the package?

Yes we did, he confirmed that they were finished with the unit and were to be shipped to South Africa last week, this is going on for the 3rd week now, the ECU is still in the USA.The payment has not even been done yet.

Got mine back in 4 days .. But i don't live in South Africa either .. That is a long way to travel , could be a Lion ate it or ate the UPS guy ..

The last sentence got me ...so no payment as of yet..this is why they might not have shipped it back..

The last sentence got me ...so no payment as of yet..this is why they might not have shipped it back..
Guhl has our credit card details to do the transfer, apparantly there was some holidays,any way good news the ECU was in the out bin and will leave the US by friday with the new software.

Hello fellow South African.
I think I spoke to you about the flashing on the phone a while ago. I had mine done by Guhl also and had good service from the guy. I think mine took just more than 2 weeks there and back. He answered all my questions to my satisfaction.  I'm sure there is a good reason for this.
On the other hand, the bad service came from the courier company in JHB UPS. Never had such poor service from anyone before. The ecu was delayed for days because of them. I am realy happy with Guhl's service.

riaansh, good to hear you were sorted by Guhl, but not to worry our ECU will be shipped by friday so all is well and no hard feelings towards Guhl.
