head work & tb's and dynoing for around 15hp is a PITA for me .. you can do whatever you want.. i'm saying for me ... i do E85 in everything its a PITA to do but worth it being no more 16.00 race gas .. and i've not lost a piston or motor using it in 2 years on turbo bikes..
the PITA part for me is taking head and throttle bodies off shipping to get work on and being at the mercy of whomever is working on it 2 to 4 weeks or more.. then being at the mercy of the shipping company hoping they don't drop your new headwork... or rounding up spare partsand ship them then take bike apart when all parts are back .. either way its a PITA ..

I appreciate you letting me do whatever I want, I feel better now.....
For an old retired guy it's not a PITA, at least not to this one. If it was I wouldn't be doing it. If I don't enjoy something I'll move on, tinkering in the shop is half the fun.
I've just never had a desire to fool with E85, a lot of folks do so there must be something to it.
Coby has always done our heads and I don't mind being at his mercy. My bike picked up 25hp on the same dyno with the head & tb's w/ tuning so it was worthwhile to me.
I ran two 207mph passes and a 208 at Loring with my XL butt on the bike so the numbers are there before you dismiss them.

i ain't being at no mercy of no shop ever ..if i don't have the parts on hand to do the work the bike stays together and running ..
.. in my thinking a $200.00 dry kit would get me 50hp in a day and be done .. i'm not 1 them guys that care how i got to the finish line .. just as long as i got to the finish line ..for the last 5 years its been with boost.. i use to race every weekend for 3 years .. (thats every weekend from 15 to 25 passes a day ) i'm slowly building a bike as i stock pile parts from a brand change .. when i get enough and the right parts on it ..i'll be hell.. i'm 2 parts away.. until then i'm enjoying it as a really fast streetbike..
