Not Starting
My Buddy has a 2006 ZX14. He cannot get the bike to start. It sounds as if the Fuel Pump is not cycling through when you turn the key to start the bike. It is not the Power Commander as we disconnected it. Could this bike with 12k miles have a bad Fuel Pump. It acts as if it wants to start, but will not start now smoke is coming from the tail pipe.

The quickest way to find out if you have a fuel problem are a firing problem is to spary some starting fluid in it. And it start, you have a fuel problem--if it does not start chance are you have a firing problem. Just enough to start. Do not run it this way for long.
