Yep, I've had one car and one bike stolen over the years. Both actually worked out great w/State Farm insurance. I don't want it to happen again but that's what insurance is for. I'm going to take care of it but I'm not gonna' sweat it. Life goes on.

Mine's kept in a long one car garage that fits 2 cars length wise, the back half has a separate inside door. Theres a car in front and my big van parked in front of the garage door. Motion lights outside and a nosey retired neighbor who's always home and know's no one touches my bike or cars but me. Fenced yard and also i have 2 dogs that bark.
At the track i keep an eye on it at all times and also have a concealed carry permit if someone really wants to be brave. When street riding i never let it out of my sight....never.
Oh yeah full coverage insurance also.

Sorry..explanation

quote:
What that mean "replacement cost

Colt that (replacement cost) means if your bike gets stolen or totaled in a wreck while the full coverage policy is in effect with that option then the insurance company pays to replace your 14R with another 14R versus giving you a check for the "value" of the bike at the time of whatever incident which of course, would not cover the full purchase price of a new 14R.

No doubt it will be significantly more cost in the policy to have replacement cost as the option you elect, so its a question of your personal situation and whether you would be fine with the "value" check and have to pay the difference or prefer to just get the same bike with no issues IF the bad thing happened. I hope that makes sense as explained.

Good luck with it,
