You are correct, it is a journal bearing. Dont know why I got ball bearing in my head. It doesnt have a water cooled center housing, duh! If I'm reading the box right, looks to be 49 trim.

You read my mind. Muzzys and I have had a discussion last week about this gate spring thing. There's more but that is a later discussion.

I would also put a BOV on the left side ram air cover to prevent compressor surge.

It's coming along good. I may have a week or two left on it. Waiting on an oil hose this week before I can finish it anyway.

Epoxied the steering tube hole and to silicone the velocity stack seals because of the leaks. Taped up the inlet of the stacks to pressure test which I found unnecessary after the fact because the valves just so happened to be closed. Pressured it up to 8-9 psi and it held with my finger over the hole( I know the pic shows 6psi). Very happy with that.

Finished wiring the scavenge and fuel pump relays with circuit breaker and fuses to the batt. box cover. Don't want to shorten any wires just yet so they will stay rolled up for a bit. Poured a little fuel fuel in the tank and ran the fuel pump to set a ball park baseline of 45psi. Pressured up the airbox to 6 psi and set the FMU needle valve to 80 psi. Probably should go up to 90psi. I know this will not be the case as the engine is using fuel because the pressure will drop considerably. The pump shows 100+ psi on the guage if the needle is turned in.

I got a weird issue now. The "FI" warning comes on when I pressure the airbox with the key on. Let off the pressure the warning goes off. Does not do it every time though, just intermittently. I did put a vacuum check valve in the map sensor line. Maybe the check valve is not seating in time?? Thoughts please.
