1976 was my last year racing moto-cross in the Dallas area, sold the 1977 mono shock YZ-125 to a friend, he let me take it to Mansfield night mx track one night, Won the first moto, crashed in the first turn second moto and still managed to trophy.
Started drag racing that year at a drag strip, 1977 at Green Valley Race City on a new 1977 GL-1000 Honda Gold Wing, drag racing was a piece of cake after racing moto-cross, still have the times slips, I don't think any magazine rider could beat me, 12.20@109mph, I believe the magazines were doing 13 flat lol. Check some of the dates on the trophy's hehe

Green Valley 1974 if i remember right ... With my friend 427 four speed Nova .. He still has the car today .. ____________

Smokin, I was at Green Valley every Wed. and Sat night in1977 racing the jackpot class, bikes got to race the cars back then, if only I hade one photo of me or a video of my GL-1000 leaving the line at redline in first gear fishtailing to 70mph when I shifted to second WOW that was fun.
