The 2012 zx14r is EVIL===Hurry and buy one
check this out....first off i love my 2000 zx12r i have own for 12 years since new.................Yesterday we went riding for 200 miles.all bikes are in mint condition.1992 zx11 ,2000 zx12r green stock and 2012 zx14r.All 3 of us rode for 30 miles at a time and then switched multiple times.i have ridden the 11 and 12 many ,many times before.
the zx12 is 10 years ahead of the zx11 and the 14r is 15years ahead of the 12r in every way.my friends were left in aw of the new 14r that i own.my advice to everyone who rides a superbike buy a 14r.It really is that good.it is so powerful i`m afraid our government might force them to slow it down.It truly is too fast for the public when redlining gears on the street. I power wheelie thru the first 3 gears at such a violent forward trust that it hurts my wrist and trys to throw me off.. I`m talkin way more trust than a zx12r. If you are on the fence about buying a 14r just do it.Wait till you feel how good it rides and sucks up bumps,how good the brakes are,how good it handles at any speed and when you feel what happens cruising at 4000 rpms in 6th gear. No bike is in the same league as the 14r at this point.the whoosh of air this son of a bitch creates is mind altering.

Ditto, the thing is a monster. It gives rider ultimate confidence when all you need to do is twist the throttle in 6th to pass pretty much anything in traffic!

The reasons you just stated makes me want to do a set of rear sets along with a quick shifter that would have to be fun! Do any of you catch yourself using the crap out of the slipper clutch? it works so good coming into corners I love it. I come up to corners all the time at speeds that I'm in 4th gear and I drop to 2nd and even 1st and tip it in and nail it.

love the slipper clutch, I love down shifting hard before corners. My 07 would have locked up if I downshifted that aggressively.

Yes...the slipper IS awesome...I love the 'no wheel hop' thing.Just great.It also works quite well pulling in the clutch at certain times when decelerating(pulling in and releasing)...not shifting.While braking.

I haven't had a slipper clutch since 05. I forgot what it feels like. Anyone want to let me test ride their 14 so I can refresh my memory?
