Will the Concours get 14R engine?
I wonder if we will see the 14R motor in the Concours any time soon. Of course in would be detuned to the same level as the current engine is to last years 14. Just think it would be pretty awesome to have possibly 15-20 HP and 5-10 LB-FT more than it all ready has. It would be close to the BMW 1600GT in the low end, and take it out at the upper end.

Not going to happen, just like the ZRX-1200 didn't have a ZX-12 motor, B-King doesn't have a Booza motor, I would like that ZRX with ZX-12 hp.

I'd think it'd get the new motor, "retuned for ST duty." If they do that, along w/the control of the engine heat Gen. 1 issues, I'd be likely to go for a C14 again. I'd love to see it lose some weight, also.

Kawi will definetly put the new motor in the Concours. After all Yamaha is coming with the FJR1400. They gotta compete!

If it does I believe that a lot of people that ride the 14, Busa, or another type of GT bike will jump on board. Me being one of them. With that being said, I still will keep my 06 14 or maybe get a 14R also. Because these are great bikes.

The 14r motor even detuned in the C-14 will be the ultimate sport tourer, and I want the first one in the USA in my garage, transfer all the goodies off my 2010 and get about 175 HP at the rear wheel, let's see Yamaha compete with that number!

A stroker C-14 will eat tires even faster,LOL
That extra 25hp would be sweet though,it was one of my peeves with the bike even after doing a Brocks ZX-14 full system, flies out,PCV and Auto-Tune,KandN air filter,Speedo Healer,Muzzy ZX-14 timing advancer and Engine Ice coolant to keep it from perking down here in Texas.
It was quicker but it wasn't any faster. That shaft drive robs a heap of power, then the weight...
When you get the sidebag mounts figured out,I'll be in line for a set. C-14 hardbags are awesome.
They stay dry in torrential downpours and will carry all the wifes shoes plus a jug of scotch.
