Just installed a drag pack clutch with springs..

My stock clutch fibers were getting to the end of there life, so i called up cycle concepts and bought there drag pack and stiffer springs. Install was quick and easy, reused oem gasket, installed new steels and fibers. Test ride and the first thing i notice is clutch chatter as im letting the clutch out. I removed the clutch to check for a warped steel, found none warped. I then installed the old oem clutch, no chatter.

I removed the oem clutch again, installed the drag pack again, chatter is back..
Im kinda at a loss of what to do at this point.
Oh i soaked the fibers for 8 hours in oil before install.

You will need to go out and do some hard launches on the clutch. After a bunch of those it will seat in and work like a charm. I used them on my Turbo bike with the lock up and it would sometimes do that for the first couple of passes.

Then I guess you could slip the clutch with your hand hard a couple of times while riding on the street. or dump the clutch in third or fourth at low speed.

The drag pack we installed in the 14 chattered a little bit at first also. It was never quite as smooth as the OEM but after a couple of trips to the track it was hardly noticeable.

Well, after a few very hard launches it seems better.
And I really like how this clutch feels when im launching my extended 14. Now i need a cut seat.

you didn't mention you were launching with the chatter, your first post sounded like you were just riding off at a stop sign and having the problem. Hope it's all good,
