A strange turn of events. Out of nowhere, the service manager at the dealership calls me yesterday and wants to get my bike back to the shop because the factory rep is going to be there today and he wants to ride it. I was willing but it was going to be difficult for me to get it there. So he volunteered to come by my house to get it....? Long story short, he stopped by with a trailer this morning, and she's now back at the dealership. A few days ago, I had been written off by both the dealership and Kawasaki. This morning: VIP concierge service at my doorstep from the service manager who seemed genuinely determined to work with Kawasaki to figure out the issue. I'm very surprised, and cautiously optimistic as I know I'm not out of the woods yet. . .
Oh, and a big thanks to Shorty (aka MadnessRacing) who was up from L.A. for the drag bike race at Sac this past weekend - thanks for taking the time to ride my bike and confirm I'm not actually CRAZY! (-:

That is awesome news! I hope this will end the "they all pull to the right " explanation.

Scott Im glad theyre trying to fix this issue and hopefully they get to find the problem and fix it, I cant wait to see you having fun at the track once is fixed and if you need me you got my number.

That is great news, hope it turns out good. And it sure is nice to see others step up to offer their help. Working together can get good things accomplished.

Well if they decided to do something about it I am sure some suit decided a Multimillion dollar lawsuit if you were to get injured was not worth a 14,000 motorcycle. Hopefully they take care of it RIGHT this time. Keep us posted.

SO, they still found nothing. I bought a new Power One for the front (which is what is now on the back) to rule out tires being an issue, and the dealership said they'd install it for free. So I drove it down there today and they had a brand-spankin' new blue 14R with 1 mile on it waiting for me to test ride upon my arrival. I took it out and . . . . damn thing pulled to the right. Not as strongly as mine, but it was still apparent that the bike favored going towards the right. So now I don't know what to think - a bad batch of 'em? I don't know. Maybe I'll give up drag racing and start doing track days now that she's back at stock wheel base and height with Power One shoes on both ends - lol.

Back in 2001 I bought a new GSXR-1000, no way that thing would wheelie straight, it would take off for the right shoulder every wheelie, everywhere, it wasn't the crown of the road either. I replaced the back tire, it helped some, after a few 100 miles it started wheelying straight, everyone said it was me, I've been doing long wheelies for a long time, it wasn't me. Bought a new 2002 954 and it pulled worse than the GSXR, Just a thought turn the tires around and try it? I know they are directional, just to check it.

That's wild, Wee. Who knows, maybe miles will fix it. After the new front tire is on, I won't be spending more focus on that, but thanks for the idea. Maybe I'll try launching with the bike pointed slightly to the left.....that sounds safe and fun...lol

New tire on front actually helped some - still has a tendency to favor the right (just like the other one I test rode), but an improvement nontheless. I guess now I'll lower it again, head back to the track, and just focus on a slight weight shift to the left if necessary. Thanks again for all the advice, guys. And thanks, Smokin', for convincing me to buy a new front tire (-:

Funny thing is I love my stock tires, I would say it was a bad tire itself like a bad belt or cord
