My brother had one back in the day.He had ninja cam and carbs on it and it ran really good for a bike of the era.

He is correct, the ZL 900 Eliminator is a 4-stroke engine, and you could improve performance by simply swapping cams and bigger carbs from the GPZ 900R Ninja. I don't think he was referring to the 1972 Kawasaki TR 100, lol

Those were cool bikes. If I remember they were bad about spining the #3 rod bearing back them if you rode them hard.

So is every ZX motor so don't let that stop you. A good friend of mine had one of these way back in the day. Great out of the hole. No top end. He'd jump out in front of everyone he raced but always got caught right before the traps. Nice bike to bop around on though and I assume that's what you want it for.

Had a km100 which looks like the same engine as that.umm yeah no cams power valves or power bands. Case port motor with a very flat power curve.if you stretch some powerbands around the packing in muffler should add 100hpthe and massive bottom end power!
