GPR steering damper & lowering strap

Hello everybody,
I have bought a few days ago a GPR V4 steering damper for my ZX14 and I also bought a lowring strap kit. They did not delivered to me yet, after buying them I started to think about mounting, I forgot about it. Does anyone have a solution? Any pics?

I have a GPR on mine, so I run my strap over the gauge bracket. I tighten it down at the track and it stays loose the rest of the time just riding on the street. I've had it like this for about a year and a half now.

i see its work for you..but thats a bad idea.. if you ever break 1 those bolt lugs its a no fix.. i had purchased a frame with a broken top lug once.. we welded and everything but it would break after time again

OK 1bad. I can't be the only guy using a strap and a GPR. Does anyone have a better way with this combination? I know the strap normally goes right where the GPR bolts on.

I ride pretty much every day and don't have any problems on the street. I haven't had any problems at the drag strip or LSR, but if there's a better way, I'm up for it.

In the photo, the zip tie is on my charger, not the strap. The strap is kinda hard to see, but it's basically underneath the ignition. The slack comes off to the left and is looped up neatly underneath my clutch reservoir with a zip tie.

I put the strap on and then mount the damper, it will fit.
