V-Max vs ZX-14r It' seemed to be all but forgotten when the 14r came out in 2011, no more threads the Max will beat a 14, V-Max vs ZX-14r ? Really? Does anyone know the "quickest" of all V-Max's in the 1/8th mile? RuRu ZX-14r 6.09 medium sized rider, Smokin ZX-14r6.10 light rider, Wheelie ZX-14r 6.18 + 210 pound rider, I only had a handful of runs as did Smokin, both of us could have gone quicker but we wanted the wot times to be posted in the U.S. asap.
I will spot any V-Max 200ft, yes I said 200ft and run an 1/8th mile..
RuRu is swb, wanna run him heads up? His 14r has a pipe and lowered, not even tuned, V-Max has a 67" wheelbase, sounds fair to me, Gates open at 4pm at Texas Raceway at Kennedale, that's when I get there, any V-Max is welcome to come and try a ZX-14r, this is your chance to prove the V-Max is quicker than a ZX-14r, all runs will be video recorded.... This is what happens when a fully modded Vmax , and i mean fully moded including BST wheel trys to race a ZX14R .. Take note that i'm at the finsh line just about the time the Vmax is at the 1/8 mile mark ..

@ 200ft he will not be able to see the tree, so you must be giving him the "move" also.
If this is the case, I'll bet with the V-Max.
There is no way you will catch him in the 1/8.
You better be glad you only wagered a cheezeburger!

if i had a vmax i'd be putting you in the staging lanes .. lets see how you get traction after hitting the water box . plus i don't think you can see the tree from 200ft ..

better think again 200 ft is more than a 3 second head start .. what most 60ft's on a 6.90 bike is what a 1.60 at best .. so he's got another 140ft

Nothing Yamaha has ever produced has been the "meanest thing on the street".I have been drag racing bikes since 1979 at almost every dragstrip you have ever heard of and only seen 1 Vmax that ran worth a crap.It had about $20,000 worth of aftermarket parts

You are correct, very few V-Max's at the track, lol, I should've clarified, in 1985 it was the fastest (STOCK) production bike, all things being equal.
That being said, on the street, with an experienced rider they can beat anyone. A lot of folks think that buying a ZX-14 is all it takes, lol
