what they wanted was the head camera to try to catch other bikers doing stunts. So they trumped up a charge about his license plate not be invisible. LOL
After this hit U tub Dallas police said they would have to review how they do business
I think they just settled with a motorcyclist that they pulled over and beatup for I think it was a half 1 million

i just don't understand why the cops just don't pose as stunters and bust the whole lot on a 6 month sting ..like they do to the drug crowd..

I agree that a night in jail and a couple hundred tickets would probably fix that guy's attitude problem, but to single someone else out of the crowd and and hauled into jail is not the answer!

i've seen some of the shit these stunters have pulled in the pass.. and just watching the vid i posted .. these fools are dangerous .. if they ride like that in front of cops ..just think how they ride when no cops around

so he pulled the guy over thinking he was going to admit that he was part of the crowd? or thought that the guy was just going to hand over the camers? so when neither one went the cops way he got pissed and figured hed find something and the best he could come up with was an obstructed license plate? really? and then on top of that he arrested the guy for that petty sh*t!

I agree his attitude was shitty.... A ticket is in place of arrest and it's up to the officers discression... Pretty funny they gave him back his cam with the video on it.

I don't agree with people pulling a bunch of crazy ish on a hwy, but this dude got the raw end of the stick. He did nothing wrong, but the jack on the other bike brake checking the cop and blocking him prtr makes it bad for everyone. It's because of jacks like that that you have to think is it best for me to stop or become a ghost when someone passes you who is fleeing from a cop.

The pullover charge of "Obscured licence plate", was clearly something to get him on.
One poster said that he lives where this guy was pulled over and that these 'bikers' behave like dickheads and 'rule' the road think that they are the kings of that hwy.
BTW, the guy in the vid didn't appear to be connected and i think if he behaved a bit more quiet and calmly, it would have been a different outcome.

I live in Dallas. I don't run around the streets like a moron. There were plenty of morons in that pack of squids without question. I didn't see that particular guy doing anything wrong and in fact the fat ass dick wad cop KNEW he didn't break any laws and said so right after he stopped him. Thats my only point. They do not get to pull you over, confiscate your belongings for evidence or anything else, decide to handcuff and man handle someone because they are embarrassed by their own ignorance and then act like the emtionally deprirved children so many of them are, (slamming doors, throwing a little hissy fit..pussy). That fat ass cop is a moron every bit as much as those whom he was supposedly trying to protect the general public from.

That guy was pulled over solely for the fact that his camera was where the cop could see it. If I were the cop I would have done the same thing. That cop was more polite than most would have been.

I'm thinking the cop should be pulling over the guy that did the brake check in front of him and was doing the road block, not a guy just cause he has a camera. They want the camera, get a warrant for it. Couldn't get him to pull over and he runs, hey how bout a warrant for him if he had a tag on the bike. I've seen plenty of news stories where helicopters came out to help in the chase. this might have been a good time for one, especially if this group of punks do this on a regular basis. Act like a dick, get treated like a dick.
I got pulled over running about 90 in a 55. No ticket. I was polite, the NC State Trooper was polite and we were both on our way. Not always how it works out, but it did once.

well I learned a long time ago not to ride with the stunt riders, but I'm sure a lot of them were just out for a ride. it could've just as easily been me caught up in that mess! . The cop pulled him over because he wanted his head cam. According to Dallas County prosecutor. The cop did not have the right to take the cam without a warrant, they both knew that! so the cop goes for dirty tricks. Your license plate is obscure? later report showed that it was not. But here's what happened, the guy goes to jail for eight hours, his bike is probably drug on the back of a record, just trying to prove they scratched it! I can only imagine what the in Pound,$$$$ was. It didn't say what it cost him to get out of jail. and what you couldn't see when the cop slam the door, His leg was still in the door .the thing is this cop is probably been paid between 50 and $75,000 a year to uphold the law, I hate double standards, it's okay for them to go down the freeway at 80 mph when his shift is over, but not me!
again I'm not saying that what was going on that day was okay . But "two wrongs don't make a right"
