I have been looking for another link that I read earlier that said his license plate did meet Texas law? but I'm pretty sure we all know that's not why he was pulled over.

one thing that was strange, the police department said they took his camera and was baffled how he got the video? . I noticed when he was pulled over. He started using his smart phone, is it possible he could download the video to his smart phone. Then to his home PC? if he did, that would be cool, because without the video. You would know nothing about this.
The other thing that is strange, the squad car had a camera, which I'm sure was rolling! but mysteriously, the police department says there is no video? . Yet they had no problem producing video of the stunners. It sounds like the problem runs deeper than just this one cop ?

I am not sure if the go-pro can be accessed remotely without a usb cable or something. But for sure, the dash cam was working on the cop car.

most of the tickets I got in my life I deserved. But there was a couple I didn't, at least according to what they said. I ended up with a laugh out of these two.
#1, about 35 years ago I was cruising down the local strip in my 428 cobra jet Mustang passed a 711 with a cop sitting behind it. I was probably doing 50 in a 40, I spotted him as soon as I passed. He come wide open, pulled me over pretty quick,the first thing he said "you know, I had to get up to 100 MPH to catch you" I think he wrote me for 70 in a 40. he wrote the violation address, one block from the 7-Eleven. So I went to court. When I got him on the stand. I said, you told me you got up to 100 MPH to catch me. Is this true. Yes, said the officer,so you're telling me you left the 7-Eleven accelerated to 100 MPH,and stop me, all within one block, yes said the officer, these new squad cars we have are very powerful. I looked at the judge he immediately said dismissed. Sometimes stupid runs all away to the bone.
#2 my 17-year-old daughter and her friend was cruising past the State Park, and there, he set Dudley do right, he saw the two girls passed immediately pulled in behind them. they went about a mile and took a left and got on the freeway they got about three quarters of a mile and he pulled them over. he come up to the window and said, I clocked you doing a120 MPH, the lie was bad enough! but he got both girls out and handcuffed them and put them in the back of a squad car and started lip thrashing them to the point. My daughter called me crying like a baby. I guess he had his fun, but again, stupid is hard to cure! because I knew this sixcylinder Monte Carlo was not going to get up to 120 MPH and pull over, in three quarters of a mile! but it gets better. That year, Monte Carlo has a 85 mph auto shutdown, so I put the front wheels on stands and videotaped the speedometer. When it got to 85 it started flashing , "auto shutdown" because my daughter was 17 . I was not able to represent her . So I had to hire a lawyer for $300. I was really looking forward to seeing Dudley do right! wouldn't you know it he didn't show up for court, so I still lost the 300 But in Texas, they will take your drivers license at 120 mph.
sorry to unload on you guys, I know some people are wondering why people are down on cops I know we would have a hard time making it without them, but it makes you wonder where they get some of them from.

don't include "me " in that we .. if every cop on the face of the earth disappeared tonight ..i would never miss them .. along with politicians ..
my favorite was about 30 years ago ..i was cruising on I10 heading to work minding my own business ..and this bike goes flying by me .. hell i didn't think nothing of it .. cop comes up behind me and lights me up .. well need i say more ... i got that other guys tickets .. all motorcycles look the same to cops .. so do trucks.. since that day no motorcycle flys by me..

okay one bad, I'm going to have to counter with ticket # 3
it's 1975, and I'm at a local street race hang out, they race, from the top of the hill, down, there was a friend of mine there that had an L88 Corvette I pulled up beside him and rolled the window down to holler at him "not to race" he was drunk. I said a few words, and he took off tire smoking, the cops were coming up the hill. They Saul the to headlights lined up together the Corvette was flying I eased off and never got over 30 mph the cop immediately pulled in behind me getting me out of the car, handcuffed me and hauled me to jail for street racing. In those days, you really needed to cars to get someone for street racing. But this drunk in the Corvette comes back up the heel and pulls in behind the squad car. So we both go to jail. Both cars get in pounded. and I was scratching my head, think what did I do wrong! I guess like you, wrong place wrong time.
THE GOOD OLD DAYS .. Before MADD and all those other fukking groups...
i've got a real long 1 about cops and beach and bar and women and booze .. then fighting and riot and all the good stuff you could do to cops back in 1981 ... i'll tell it to you 1 day in person ..

Cops are not big picture people...mere tax collectors. None of then understand the Constitution is the reason for their job and not an obstruction to it. There is a cop who rides and writes on another forum who thinks the US Constitiution should be ripped up...Fuck that douche bag.

It's just too bad the cop didnt rear end the asshole that kept brake checking him and blocking the lane. I am not a huge fan of cops and an even lesser fan of these assholes on bikes that pull these types of stunts.

The officer committed several crimes on that tape he tried to steal a camera ,you can not confiscate someones property without a warrent .You may not detain someone without just cause. And most important you can not assult someone just because you have a badge. People like that have to be weeded out of public service. And for everyone on this site that has made excuses for this asshole you should be ashaimed of yourselves. When you know the law and choose to break it there are consequences badge or not.
