Kawasaki is selling the new 14Rs like pancakes, hell its even hard to find a green one and from what I heard Kawasaki dont have green or black 14r left.

I got a green one, Shorty - with just over 1K miles...broken in perfect, and for anyone who does NOT drag race, I'm getting closer and closer to making some lucky sob one helluva deal....

And what would be driving you to sell it?

I think you need to do more to investigate the basics. Forks and rear wheel alignment would be first on my list.

Take it to GMD computrack...they can find the issue, whatever it may be, and it is not very expensive at all. Don't rely on your local shop.

Do your home work on this bike all through some got lucky some of us didn't I pulled mines out the shop rode to work got back home and Al I could her was rattle and knocking. Replaced the can chain tensioner and there was a valve drop noise.
I abuse my zx10 not this bike. Two others have called me before iI got the same noise. Thats why so many are for ssale. If you buy one put sabble bags on it only I will never own another one.

These issues have to be one offs. I beat the their out of my 2012 and except for the normal noise it is rock solid.
I have read several that had rod issues with less than 1k miles, but that got to be a factory induced problem.

I love my 14r, I love my 2000 12r, all I need is either a concours or goldwing to the mix and I'll be all set.
I'm fortunate enough to pay cash for them so theit not going anywhere soon.

Don't pass on that extended warranty. You'll be sorry if you do.

I almost bought a 08 14 for 5g last week. Top shape, cans, hard bags, sliders, new tires. And not a teenager colour scheme even. And that was even from a dealer, so no private sale worries.

I'm still waiting for mine to be delivered...insurance is a killer in the states.

I know a lot of folks figure out the payment plus the insurance are a real ass kicker.
I've only seen one go for a good price, it was still expensive, but it was modded with low mileage.

I'm with State Farm - full coverage is about $300 per year. Busa, S1000RR, ZX-14, 2013 Road Glide ($$$) - they are all the same... they don't care. But you must have a FLAWLESS driving record.
