Picked up a used ct meg. Couple scratches
The can has a few scratches. Anyone know how to take the scratches out of the titanium of the can to clean it up.

Lol ,......I gotta replace the Brock's plate also. It's a little scratched up as well.

You are gonna have to wet sand it with progressively finer sand paper. Finish by buffing it with metal polish. It's actually pretty easy.

Heres some pics of the scratches I want to get out, I am not looking to polish the Titanium. I prefer the brushed look.

they hit it with steel wool, try some 2k grit with oil, that should clean it up nicely. It will never look brushed as it did new

I was back and forth with that guy asking questions about the pipe when it was up for auction. Seems like I remember him saying it had less than 1,000 miles on it? It amazes me about how people are so careless with their stuff. Not bashing your exhaust or saying it is junk by any stretch.....I still think you got a great deal, but I mean, how in the hell could one accumulate scratches like that in less than 1,000 miles? Maybe 1,000 dragstrip miles....lol.

Not gonna matter now. I just dropped the whole system off to be ceramic coated black. Should be done in about 1.5 weeks. Gonna look awesome.
