I would guess (although I'm not an engineer)) that when my 135lb ass hops on bike that's geared 16/48 it runs out of gear way short of the 1320? Would'nt rider weight play a big role in that? Not being a smart ass just talking about past experiences

Good luck with 16/41 I just didn't have any with it like he said weight makes a difference if your not a feather. Going to try 17/41 tonight if the weather holds out.

CJ you taking out any timing? I think it makes a difference also. so do clutch setups. I'm still suprised that slider bike is using 16/43.

You didn't run out of gear last time you rode a bike at 16/48

weight plays a roll. when i rode the bike we had a 41 on the rear 16 front. 100 shot of gas. im 160 suited. but going thru the traps about 10000 in 6th gear. i can run 16-43 no problem. on my stock hand clutch bike i run 16-44 on the gas in the quarter. dont understand why yall are running out of gear unless youre blowing thru the clutches.

Yes I am pulling timing, lockup clutch with heavy duty springs to make sure there's no slipping. With a 40 shot I ran 16/43 trapping 6th gear with a hand clutch

Maybe you're right, who knows I know turbo bikes take much less gear. That's a fact! I ran much different gearing with my nitrous. I will leave the gearing stuff to you pros.
