Cut-down tank.....
Just wanted to say thanks to Roy for the great job on my tank. After a little bondo & primer I just rattle canned it to hold me over until doing it right this winter.
Took it out yesterday and WOW, what a difference. With my gut I've never been able to tuck very good but this helped out a bunch. Couldn't believe how much quieter the air flow was at high speed.
Also thanks to Rich for the tips & info.
For anyone remotely interested in LSR or helping at the strip this is the ticket. I can lay over the tank when launching and I'm looking forward to trying it at the strip.
I'll get a chance to run it at Wilmington & Loring next month and I believe this will be a great mod, getting out of the wind has gotta be a plus!
Thanks again Roy,
Dan

Yes. It will bolt right up. I posted up some pics a while back in a different thread with mine on there. It stops just short of the gas cap kinda like the stock seat is on this one.
Looks good Dan. I like the smooth look with no decals or emblems too. That is cool. Let us know how you do in July.

Hey Burton,
A buddy has a shop and he builds his own kits, I went with an auto-shift feature and bought that from Boost by Smith.
The physical part of installation was fairly easy but I had him do the electrical part, it was a learning process for me but I worked with him in case I have problems at the track when he's not there.
This is my first air shifter but with just playing with it on two street rides I'm hooked!

Hey Charles,
When I added the shop to the garage the concrete guy gave me the old line when I asked about a guarantee "it will be hard and it will crack" and he was right!
