ext swingarm or bolt on extions ?
wanting to bracket race my new 2012 zx14r but i can not decide which way to go on the swing arm, extended or boltons the bike has been lowered has adjustable lowering arms in the rear and the front fork tubs have been raised 3/4 inch in the front,bike also has a full muzzy exhaust system and a pcv with a custom map for it, i also have a couple of sprockets ordered for the rear one is a 39 the other is a 38,the front sprocket is stock, i am try ing to figure how to keep the front end down when launching and and running through first gear. any suggestions or help would sure be appreciated. thanks little Burt

Go with and swingarm at less 64-68 over.
Some tracks reqiure that you have a swingarm or the extensions be welded on.

i think extensions are the best way to go for just average racer. ive been 8.50s at 170 mph with them 220-lb rider.

I've had extensions at 66" for over 5years with no problems.
If you have the money I would get a arm.
As far as the gearing, I think your going the wrong way. Having a longer wheelbase you can go the other way with gearing.
For example, I'm about 8" over (66") and I run 16/48, but I'm 200lbs in boxers... The lighter guys can go with less gearing. To me, more gearing is easier to keep it consistant.

I was debating getting some extensions for my stock length boosted 14.......just wasn't sure if I could trust them with my life. Who makes the best ones?
