Anyone see Ivans performance web site lately

He has this posted on the new 2012 14r

We have completely unrestricted this model in all gears - so no need to remove your sub-throttles !!
(Bikes runs better with them in place) Lots more info to come!!!

So has anyone talked to him on this does he have it derestricted in 1st 2nd and 3rd? thought guhl has not been able to do that yet. I would call and ask tomorrow but I'm heading in for surgery in the morning on my bicep again. so if anyone else wants to have at it.

Very interesting. I have had Ivan work on my ZX-9 and I got to say.... He is fucking awesome! Good work, fair price, and knows his shit.... Best thing is, he is only 45 minutes away!

Already tried a TRE on the dyno and the track ... It did not remove the 1 , 2 and 3 gear safe mode power loss.. Ivan must be doing this in the ECU ..

I was told by Don that this is the update and it does take the restriction out with flies installed. But if u already have the flies removed the restrictions are already gone. It will keep the KTRC off and u can control it manually at any time and it will remember the last setting after bike is powered off and back on

I know before I boosted my 06 I had Ivans set-up on it....his stuff rocks
My bike was a WHOLE nother beast after I pulled my flies, added some slips, and ran his map and tre that cuts fuel on decel to eliminate the backfires. The diff was downright ridiculous. If he can do anything near the same with the new 14R it will be crazy

Exactly how mine is set up, it allows you to roll into the throttle without it being an on/off switch at closed to open throttle. His map does get rather low mileage though but it runs great everywhere. I like the reflash idea better than having to run a pc5 or in my case 3 given all the extra control available.

Bumping this thread to see if anyone else has this on their 14R, and get their thoughts on it as a daily driver.
Did your fuel mileage take a nose dive?

I'm mainly a daily rider looking for better all around performance.

Thanks!

I have all Brock's stuff also on my '08. (Spent $$$$.$$ with Brocks performance!)

Just trying to figure out my best bet for the ECU flash as Brock and Ivan use Guhl to do the flash.

I'm guessing that they both have their own proprietary flashes though. Want to know which one would be better for "my" riding style.
They both seem to be a little secretive on what they actually change, other than bumping up the RPM's, open flies faster, switching modes.

Yes, I understand this site is geared mo toward the drag racing scene. Never hurt's to ask though!

Just my 2 cents, but if you have everything from Brock and each probably has their own flash... Why not use Brock's?

I don't have any experience with the 14R, but I will say that Ivan had great customer service and all the Ivan's products that I had on my ZRX1200 worked perfectly and it performed great as a daily rider. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from him again. And he could tell you if the mileage suffered, jsut give him a call. I would be willing to bet that mileage would be similar if driven in the same manner. Of course most of the time when someone puts an exhaust and other upgrades on a motorcycle it isn't driven in the same manner.

Ivan says he has unrestricted all gears on this model, but in his available now it doesn't mention the unrestricted, maybe he will see this thread and make it clear, if he can he might get my business.

Probably more like he sees no need to sponsor on brockland.
