DIY AFR tuning with wideband and PCV? (EU models)
Has anyone of you tried to make maps w/o dyno or autotune?
I have LC-1 wideband connected to datalogger. One channel is emulating stock lambda sensor to ECU, other channel is connected to logger...
I have data logs from about some hundred miles when riding on the streets or track...
Problem is, that I cant figure when closed circuit kicks in. If looking at the logs, it seems to run AFR 12-13 below 3,5krpm and AFR 14-15 above 3,5krpm with steady, cruising speed/throttle.
If I pin the throttle, AFR stays 12-13 regardless of RPM.
AFAIK closed circuit does not kick in, if you dont meet certain conditions; engine temp, throttle position, gear and RPM.
So my conclusion is that I might to be able to tune closed circuit AFR with tweaking LC-1 output to ECU? Am I right? Has anyone tried that?
At least there was clear difference between LC-1 emu and lambda eliminator (just resistor):

Closed loop area is less than 60 % throttle and below 6000 rpms , 4th 5th and 6th gears Apparently !

Thanks mick!
4,5,6 makes some sense regarding to my logs...
Do you know if ECU makes any memorized mapping corrections outside closed loop? (learning mode).
Off topic: I have PVC, but it does not switch map on the fly??
I´ve tested all electrical connections with multimeter, laptop connected to PCV. Any ideas?

Have you set the relevant input up as map switch ?( Power Commander Tools > Configure)
Have heard of a learning mode but have no specific knowledge myself

Yes I have map switch enabled, and I can see two maps at DJ software when laptop is connected. I have also checked that map switch is wired as it should be.

Sorry I can't be more help Samin...
Perhaps you (or anyone else!) might know how the Dynojet O2 Optimiser works, not the eliminator, it supposedly simulates narrow band lambda sensor but 'fools' the ECU into running at 13.6 instead of 14.7 ... How ?
I have disconnected mine because the fuel consumption was ridiculous and it runs just the same without it.
Thanks
