Those times nearly match my 08' at SWB. Were you strapped and lowered? Geared?

Just takes time. Turn traction off, work on your 60s and have fun.

We know it was 1/8 mile .. We were just pulling your chain . . 6.27 is not bad at all .. This new zx14r is very very hard to ride at stock wheel base .. If you are going to make it longer make sure to pull the flies ..

Kaw Man, the 14R is a great bike. Unfortunately 200 rearwheel hp and 58 inch wheelbase, doesn't work very well together. Kawasaki already knew this. It was the main reason for the secondary flies on the gen one, and on the 14R they have added a A and B power mode to help kill low in power. if you like the 200 hp at the drag strip you need a wheelbase to match it. I think 65 inches would be a minimum, but 70 inches,I think is the best choice. you'll have to make your mind up which one you like the best, drag racing, or cornering, because one of these will suffer.

no flash yet, i'm almost 70" best 60" is 1.34 on the back tire, 64" will be fun till you get tired of people beating you with a slower time hehe

If you're planning on stretching it, you may want to consider going on out a little more. Even on my old school dinosaur it would sometimes climb so bad on the 1-2 shift with the air shifter when we were at 65" it would flip over backwards if the throttle was not moderated. The 14R has a lot more torque and at least as much horsepower as I have so I can assure you wheelie problems will eventually crop up as you get more and more aggressive riding it. I think the exeption will be if you're really small. With the lighter rider (165 vs 240) mine doesn't wheelie nearly as bad. We're even getting ready to pull the axle back in to 70" and see how the bike reacts to that.
