Daytona Sensors NC-2 Progressive Nitrous Controller.......Good or Bad?
Hi,
I'm new to the hole nitrous thing, so I'm doing some research. I have a 07 ZX14 SE that I have been racing going on 2 years now. I'm looking to go to the next level and start spraying nitrous. I want to do it right where the nitrous comes on progressively and I want it to be controlled to come on between x rpm and shut off at x rpm. And only come on during fulil (100%) throttle.
Now my question is how user friendly is this Nitrous controller and how hard is install on my bike?

Good in my book. Has a lot of features for not a lot of money. Easy to make changes.

I think its a great controller. its actually the one I'm going to put on my bike. its really adjustable.

How hard is install? Do you just connect it to the wires that come right out of the ecu in the real tail section?

juice, nitrous can be a lot of fun. it can also knock the rods out of your bike! the 14 has a very strong bottom end, but it doesn't take detonation very well. there are some rules you have to remember. The right type of fuel for the amount you're using, and the right timing, you're probably okay using up to a 40 shot with premium 93 Pump gas if you take a couple of degrees of timing out. best choice for that is the SB 6. if you really want to get serious about nitrous. You need a Wego three, to keep an eye on the air fuel. with these two boxes you can spray a lot of nitrous, as long as you stay in the right timing, and the right type of fuel and air fuel numbers. these are the big three to remember when using nitrous as long as you keep these three adjusted. You won't have any problems with nitrous. I use the NX maximizer 3 it's in about the same price range and works well for us.
