2012 zx14f Lighting
Going to order some HID for my bike so as soon as I get it I can put them in. I know the bulbs are H9 and H11.. However what are the part number for the LED running lights. Did a search but there was no clear answer on what part to buy. Also those who have their bike already do you use the high beam pass function much. I am thinking of doing HID all around but I know that will leave mea t the mercy of not being able to flash the high beams

Hi beams in hi beams take a few seconds to heat up and be fully operational when switching them on, as opposed to a good set of PIAA 65 watt platinum bulbs. I have the HID in the low beams because of that reason.....and the light bulbs I use are 4300K for maximum down the road lighting.
Get smallest ballasts you can and enjoy....
I put a set of PIAA 1100x on the sides of the front fender too.....excellent...nice for high speed drivng at night.
Re-zero all bulbs as they will all be different from stock settings. Takes time, just do it right for maximum down the road coverage.

The reaon i was thinking of doing HIDS in the high beans is becasue during the day i generally ride wiht my HI beam on..
I did an HID swap on my car about a year ago. Since the swap i may have used my standard high beans maybe once or twice because the HID provides so much better light
I didnt notice that the new 14r has a pass feature when i looked at mine at the shop but i dont hink its afeature i will use a lot
