Pazzo lever clutch issue...
I've searched the threads and I can't seem to find a solution to this issue.
I got caught up in a ll the after market lever talk and purchased a set of long Pazzo levers for my 14. They installed easily enough, and they look and feel awesome. The problem is now my clutch doesn't completely disengage. It's bad enough that if I kick it into gear it shuts off... I can start it in first with the clutch pulled in but it wants to creep forward all the time. From what I understand the clutch on the 14 is not adjustable and, as far as I can tell the lever is installed properly I even removed it and installed it again with the same results. I never had this problem with the stock levers. Has anybody else had this problem? What did you do to fix it?
As always any help is greatly appreciated!

your clutch is staying engaged due to your new lever not being able to push the master cylinder rod deep enough .. try re-installing your old lever and see how it works and apply that to your new lever ... when you re-install the new lever

Sounds like that little tab on the inside of the mechanism is not seated correctly. Take the lever off and make sure that little tab fits in there correctly. I think I cleaned and greased the little hole in the lever and it solved the issue I was having which was the clutch lever was making noise and it was not operating smoothly.

I had the same issue with my 07. Check to make sure you are not over tightening it & use some WD-40 of the equivalent.

You may need to Dremel the hole on the lever a bit wider and deeper so that the master cylinder pin is allowed to fully disengage. Had the same issue and fried a clutch.

Unless I misunderstood, it sounds like the master cylinder pin is not being depressed ENOUGH, not that it is going too far.
I dont want to take anything for granted here, so, you did already try to adjust the levers all the way out, right?

Yeah, I tried all of the adjustments... I never assume that anybody knows anything so no offense taken.
Yesterday, I removed the lever and reinstalled it, and it works fine. I'm not sure what exactly I did wrong the first time, but I think I must not have set the master cylinder pin properly. It looked like it was in, but it wasn't. Pulling it out of the garage into the sun where I could see better (not to mention not doing it after a 12 hour nightshift) made it easier. Thanks for all of your help guys!
As far as the levers go, I was a bit skeptical that they were really worth the money. I'm a believer now! The more I ride the bike the more I like them. The adjusters have a nice satisfying click when you change the settings almost like a well made gun with a thumb safety. The adjustments are also more noticeable than the stock levers, so I think most people will have an easy time finding a setting they like. They look great and feel awesome. I'm glad I went with the long levers as well I think on this bike they look great! I feel the shorty levers would look and feel too small on such a large bike. They are a little shorter than the stockers, but in a good way.

Thanks epd, that is what I need to do. I feel a slight click (bind) in the lever when I first pull it. Prolly nothing wrong just annoying. Not really noticeable unless I hold the clutch lever at a stop.
