US131 Dragway results from Midnite Madness @ Martin, Michigan

Just wanted to share my results from last nights Test & Tune at US131 Dragway in Martin, Michigan.

My bike is stock height, weighed in at 505 with 3/4 tank of fuel, and 720 with me on it.

Track was good, but the air temperature was near 85 degrees.

I counted 6 ZX14's and 2 GenI Busa's in attendance, no other bikes.

My trap speeds were 5+ mph higher than every other similar ZX14?

Fastest bike was a turbo ZX14 that laid down some 8.80's.

Here is my best timeslip from the night, got real close to my goal of 9.99 in the 1/4.

What all do you have done to your bike other than exhaust?

Akrapovic EVO, PCIIIR with custom fuel map made 188rwhp, 17/43 gearing, ZX10 wheels front & rear.

I use this bike more for riding twisties and roadrace track days, so I have the suspension set up stock ride height with Racetech fork springs 1.05kg and gold valves.

Congrats!

I'm a car guy (mostly a late model drag racer) who's new to motorcycles, and I've been lurking around forums and CraigsList for the past few months.

I currently have a 2002 Honda CBR600 F4i that I've been learning on, but my goal is to upgrade to a 2006-2009 ZX14. I hope to post some stories like yours soon!

I love 131, one of the best I have been to. They do a fall race that is just bikes/sleds, you should try to put that one on your schedule.
