Anyone hear rattle with stretched arm and Dragshock?
I noticed I have a rattle ever since I installed my drag shock when my tires hit the smallest bump. My buddy said it may be my chain, but it didn't start until I installed my dragshock.
It did quiet a little when I stiffened the spring preload. It is as compressed as it can go now and still has a little rattle, but is WAY too stiff. I want it less stiff, but the rattle is REALLY obnoxious loud then and everyone asks me what is wrong with my bike. It is seriously annoying and embarrassing.
Any ideas or anyone else experience this with the DragShock?

What arm?
Probably is the chain hittin the chain guard or under of swingarm...
Maybe your rebound is too fast and is hitting the bottom...

All last year it never rattled. Just after I installed my shock last month. McIntosh Prostreet.
I had my rebound from slow to fast, playing around and it still did it. I also tested my chain too tight and it still did it, then I put the slack back to 1.2-1.5".
Have you ever heard of the rattle?

CR - I never tested taking off my chain guard to see if that's it. I will try that around my neighborhood this weekend as well.

Mine doesn't rattle .. But if i don't keep the chain pretty tight it will smack the chain guard or smack the lower swingarm loop ...
