da was 2200+, it did have mr12 in it, but I'm not sure it helped, next week it wil have straight pump gas in it, no doubt it rolls easier without them, I also had 10 lbs of air in the rear tire, Saturday it ran 124 all night with 18 lbs of air, I did notice it does have more low end power with the mr12, had to leave at 6k instead of 7k

I plan on goign a little longer with my bike, so before I do that I will take the o-rings out of mine before buying another chain. Even if you can't see a definitive gain, it can't hurt and as it has been stated, every little bit helps.

I give you an A+ for tuning. You did what you needed to do to put Blacky spot-on for the 5.60 class.

We gained a little MPH from this mod. ET didn't improve because our rear tire is starting to go away and the 60's were inching up. MPH gain has to be related to less parasitic loss though. We're going back with a new tire and trying the other things that Black Ice did with hopefully get the same results he experienced. DA is all over the place this time of year though so it's hard to compare apples to apples.

da isn't going to get better here, so if I hold a high 123-low124mph, the mod works, I'm good with 1 mph gain.

We went from 130.81 best to a best of 131.27 with three passes over 131 and on pump gas instead of MR9 with just removing the O-Rings. It surely helped a little. If we can stay over 131 or even 130 this Summer some of that gain has got to be attributed to the lesser rolling resistance from the chain. We're pumping up the tires and removing the air filter just like Black Ice did this Friday but since I've already got the BMC race filter and those that sell that filter claim it makes more power than with no filter at all, I'm not sure what gain I'll get from removing it. DA is looking to be MUCH worse (1000-1500) vs the near 0 DA last Friday night. I'll post results back here along with conditions to compare.

removing the air filter on a Gen 1 does help mph, 14r it doesn't help, well it didn't help mine. Good to hear that on your mph with the O-ring removal, even just one mph is some advantage, more stuff to follow.
