Agreed 99 percent of riding u will never notice it. But when u do its a pain in the ass. How does your friends gen2 busa compare to the new zx14

Totally agree Shawnski and it's what made this issue all the more confusing. I couldn't ride the bike a "low" rpms in 3rd gear if I wanted to, nor can I understand how that could even be taken as a legitimate concern.
Seperating the illogical complaints from the real ones was the challenge BuT there did seem to be enough legitimate concerns with low end fueling for the street and the similarities with the track map where more fuel was being added on a consistent basis to aid in launch that was causing a bit of an issue even when the bike was not being lugged that revising the map made sense for the street map.
Again doesn't seem like a big issue to me since steps were taken to revise it and the users seem happy now.
i never forget how bad the zx12r were with full exhaust system.. they were hardly any good maps to get the 2-3k rpm hesitation resolved under normal acceleration... now that was pain in the ass ..

"How does your friends gen2 busa compare to the new zx14"...dated.nice...but dated.Ride quality,power delivery,torque....all below the 14R IMO.But still...a good bike.Lighter.Shifts much clickier...that's one plus.But not enough to override the quality and performance of the 14R.No way.Suzuki did a good job with their Busa...they did...but the new 14 is the ticket.

Wheelie and kawifast this is an information forum which i have been trying to provide. Wheelie you have been warned already to knock it off. Grow up and stop thread jacking every single thread that im trying to answer peoples questions with honest answers. Thank you.
