Does Brock have the ability to de-code every facet of the ECU? Perhaps render that "fail-safe" code inoperable?
Not yet , but people are working on it ..

I can only imagine the kind of hoops the Kawi software engineers will make you jump through to lay ALL the code out on the table.

I for one want hope something gets decoded in the ecu as I want my mode selectors to work and I'm guessing by removing the flys your going to lose a big part of that.

Brock said that even with traction control off the bike goes into a safe mode when pushed hard. He said they thought it was to prevent the bike from flipping. Does this mean the bike will not flip over when wheeling on launch. Anyone else running a 40t rear? I'm considering one to drop the Rpms on the highway.

Nothing wrong with the bike , you just need more seat time .. This bike is very very hard to ride at stock wheel base .. 1.63 60 footer is killing you .. If you ran a 1.53 you would have run 2 tenths quicker and a bout 5 to 6 MPH faster ..

it's 58.3 wheel base factory .. 60 inch will not do much for you ... Shortest i would go would be 64 .. Then you could use something like a 16/42 ... No one gear works for everyone .. You have to test gears till you find what works for you and your weight .. ..

Kaw-man,

-have someone to video record your runs... It will tell you the bike is doing and what you are doing.... I learned alot from reviewing my passes this way.
-remember same action will get the same results

This is what I shared with Craz14:

Suspension is very important, especially with a short WB bike

-adjust the ride hight to allow the sag to be 1 to 1.5 inches (if over 200 lbs)
-adjust the compression to allow the bike to squat (zip tie the shaft to see how much travel you have-don't let the shock to bottom out)
-adjust the rebound to allow the bike to slowly return back to normal ride height
