Help, Trying to buy good boots
I bought the suit and its well underway. I need to buy some boots now, so I don't look like a redneck with my brown Ariat boots. I want to buy a used pair on ebay, but curious what the sizing is like. I wear a 42 in my vibram KSO and I am very happy with it. However, I wear a 10 (or 43) in my brown Ariat boots. Do they fit the same possibly? Also, if you know a good place to get a good pair of used boots please tell me...Im waitin every other hour for a good pair to pop up on ebay. Lastly, what are the benefits from wearing the boots other than the protective aspect (noticed the rubber humps on different angles). Thank you.

Take a look at Cycle Gear. There's a store in Smyrna, along with a couple others in GA, just not as close to you. I've bought a couple pair of boots from them here in NC. Easy return policy too if it turns out you don't like them for some reason.

I'll look them up asap. Btw, sorry you live there. Stationed in lejeune, glad to be out of that place. It's a speedtrap everywhere you ride. I couldn't enjoy riding at all there.

Dude you were right and they had a clearance tonight too man on everything from Bilt. Im pissed, i just bought a Texport for 300, and they have a 300 Bilt suit on there. I don't know how well Bilt boots hold up, but I guess i will buy a pair and let yall know just how comfortable they really are. Can't beat 75 dollar pair of boots. I posted the link.

There is actually a review for this boot on youtube. Everything is good about the boot, but no ankle support. I will see if I can find something around the same price range with this feature. I hated limping after wrecks.

Just bought these on ebay. I heard Teknic had a better protection rating and the guy barely used them. I wanted to have cool looking boots, but man limping SUCKS!

I think everything telnic makes is the best in its price range.

I bought a pair of the chicane boots this year at the chicago motorcycle show it was funny because I had my heart set on some alpinestars and after trying them on I was happier with the teknic boots.

I use Sidi vertigo Corsa boots and Sidi Street burner low boots. Both good for protection but suck for standing and walking.
