Just test rode the zx-14r!!! The improvements are truly amazing, smooth power band and shifting, better handling, no heat issues, and of course more POWER!!!!! WOW brings on a whole new meaning....

I rode the Concourse as well and may go that route, wanting to do more long distance two up riding. The Concourse is no slouch either...the ride leader was on a 14R and I was second in line. We had a chance to open it up for a bit and it didn't fall too far behind the 14R.... I don't know if he had it pinned or not though. Not sure which one right now, but if I win the lottery I'll be buying both..

LOL, +1 on buying both. I'm going to the demo days myself to test drive both. They are coming to new york the first week of june. Boy am I excited!! I'm sure the concourse will have better insurance rates than the 14R. I'm a little partial to the 14R as I have owned an 06 years back. I'm surprised that they let you open the machines up! I hope that is something that they will allow me to do. Did you receive that $250 off coupon on the purchase of your next bike that they speak of?

They offered the coupon, but it's only good for 60 days after the test ride & I don't plan on buying that soon. Hopefully around this time next year I'll be the proud owner of one of these two great bikes.

Sounds like a plan. I may delay my purchase until then as well. I'm awaiting for the end of year sales to see if I am offered a price that I can not refuse. Hopefully my wife allows it too!..lol
