Anyone familuar using Map switch on a PC-V?

Yes was helping a friend,
i'm helping a Close friend on his zx-14R. We purchased all parts from Brocks. My questions are on using the Map 1 & Map 2 switch. I will state that the map switch IS working(checked it with a ohm meter), & wired correctly per schmatic .. when switch is open, that is Map 1, closed switch is Map 2. We have the PC-V, But I'm having trouble knowing if the Map switch (map1 & map 2) is working?? I can send Your street map to map 1, & then send my Trial map to Map 2. On the computer when I click on fuel Map postion 1, it shows your street map, When i click on fuel Map postion 2, it shows My Trial map.. But is there a way to tell on the computer which map your on>? because nothing happens when you switch to map 2.. It seems like something isn't right???

plug it into the computer, power it up. right click on the "guage panel" in the power commander v control center (green numbers on the right side) add a gauge to display current map

Mine is back wards, closed swith reads current Map 1 & open switch reads Current Map 2(backwards)??? Tech & Jamie said what ever it says in the software is the Map its on??? you may have you switch wired incorrectly. what map does it say if you pull the wires from the switch out of the power commander? this would be the same as having the switch in the open position (no continuity). if is still says map 2 then i guess the power commander does have it backwards.
