Most times I see these A/F tunes and am skeptical as to factoring in ram air. If not then as usual it will make big dyno hp but be slower on the road. Did you account for that?

i do like the fact that the traction and power mode would stay in the same position as when you turn it off.
I would also like to see the temps at which the fans come on lowered some to maybe 195.

With the May 1st (approx.) availability of the ECU Map/Unleash combination... if all goes well-you would not need to purchase a PC V, (unless you are going to do some fine tuning, etc.) ? A properly flashed ECU will be all that is needed if you are not going to race...street use only-with an aftermarket exhaust system? IF correct...those of us that have both the (ECU Unleash) from Guhl, and a PC V from Brocks...street use only...is it going to be worth changing anything now; that other's have both, as their set up, just keep going, and nothing to really do? Any speculation on what flexibility this new ECU flash may have over the current Guhl/ECU unleash and a Brocks PC V & Map? Some things may not be known until this product/service becomes available? Thanks, anyone...I am happy with what I have...so this is only a question, it might help others.

"Brock did ".....yup.I think I like the Brock numbers better ..
You can remap and remap and remap to yer heart's desire using a Powercommander...plus ignition tables as well.Methinks that beats reshipping an ECU every month for 'the latest an greatest'.Just my .02

Agreed for mapping. I'd like some of the reflash features, too, though. I guess they'd work together?

Yup...they work together..at least the setup Mr.Brock has does.If you have the same mods...yer gonna get the same results I would think...all things being equal.Doesn't include break-in procedure however...that could possibly make or break ya depending.

It is what it is.... As far as the numbers, Brock's bike is running 0wt oil and has 3 more HP & TQ. The ECU bike is running Mobil 1 10-40.

I already have the PC w/Brock's street map. I like the idea of fine tuning the FI mapping but I'd also like the additional features of the reflash. I'm trying to decide if I need a different flash, no PC, etc. I'm scheduled to install the PC tomorrow morning, so time is ticking. I gotta find out and decide what's the best way to go pretty quickly (I hate to drag this out any longer but I will if I need to.). I guess the immediate question is: If I do your reflash, will the PC-V override its mapping but still give me all the other features? Maybe a dumb question but that's where I am.

A silly question perhaps, but why so (relatively) rich around 4200-5400? That would seem to hurt response and fuel efficiency for us commuters. Any way to tune that out in the flash or is it too minor and/or difficult to worry about? Also, I asked elsewhere, will this thing work in tandem w/a PC-V and a Brock's street map?
cls,
No on ANY fuel mapped ECU working with Brock's mapping and a PCV. A PCV installs in between the ECU and injectors and conditions the signal to the injectors. If the fuel portion of the ECU is mapped, our mapping will be added to this, so you end up with a big fat (literally) mess.
Brock's customers will notice that we have added the drop-down 'ECU Re-flash other than Guhl Motors 'Brock Flash'- NOT SUPPORTED' to our Map Support options. This is to avoid confusion and potential expensive problems. See = www.BrocksPerformance.com > Map Support > New Exhaust Perchase > ECU Re-Flash*

So the "Brock Flash" is the only way to join in w/the PC-V and your street map? Does your flash include the other stuff this one does? I know it kills the tp speed limiter and extends the rev ceiling but I'm more interested in the TRE function and ignition adjustments. I'd prefer stick w/your stuff if it does what I want.
Thanks.

I have the same pipe you have, Guhl flashed ECU with a pc map included in the flash. I'm getting a real pain in the arse flat spot bog with a quick twist of the throttle while rolling along in any gear @ less than 3000 rpm. Sent the ECU in for an update, problem still there. What do ya think? Will this unleashed tune help me out & how much will it cost total?

I understood flies out on the '12 didn't help any. I actually think that came from Brock's folks. Does someone have something different?

Mine are out .. The Street map is made for flies out or flies in .. Same for the race map ... I'm not and can't at this time go into all the details JUST pull them out if you have a longer than stock wheel base ..It will help stock wheel base the same way BUT you better have some skills to ride it .. If you don't have good riding skills leave them in ..

Well, then. I reckon I'll have to pull them out. I reckon I misunderstood. Flies out and ECU reflash, then I gotta' stop.
Thanks.

Anyone around Suffolk County NY that has access to a Guhl flashed ECU? I want to compare apples to apples, using the same bike, dyno, air, humidity, oil, etc. etc. I just want a "REAL WORLD" comparison that will prove one or the other superior. At this point & time I am not, nor will I be an ECUnleashed dealer (Don't want to get into it).... I can save you $$ on their flash if you are interested PM me. I am making $0 so I don't give a shit who's flash you decide to go with on this but would love to know who's flash is superior. Direct all of your questions to them, all I can tell you is my bike feels much stronger all around... A VERY noticeable difference!

Trust me on this one .. Will do, I'll pullem in da moanin sir, Thank you for your help @ Wheelie & Smokin, you guys were right on the money, pulled the flies "pain in my arse" then WOW!!!!, hold on. But, the problem still remained "low end bog & stutter with a quick turn of the throttle" Now get this, STUPID KTRC on 1, turned it off & no more bogging, maybe ECU noticed the front wheel raising up & going slower than the rear? Whatever the case, is there a way to completely disable it other than turning it off every time the bike is started?
Thanks,
Frank

Frank Sorry but you will have to turn it off everytime you start the bike ... The bike can be running and turn it off but it must be still ( not rolling ) or it will not turn off .. meaning you can't do it on the fly ..
