Mobil 1 synthetic car oil
I always used Mobil1 synthetic motorcyle oil in my 06 14. I thought I had read on bikeland where some of you guys have been using Mobil 1 car oil. The motorcycle oil is about $12 a quart where I live. I'm going to switch to synthetic in my 012 ZX-14R pretty soon. Is Mobil 1 10-40 synthetic car oil a good switch?
Thanks.

According to mobil website the only difference between their 4t racing and the automotive oil is higher levels of P (phosphorous) and Zn (zinc) in the 4t. But not much higher... only 200 ppm (parts per million). I use the 0W/40 with a purolator gold filter.

Thank you guys very much. As always on this forum, you're quick to answer. Is 10-40 the right weight to use?
Thanks again. I really appreciate all your knowledge.

Hey everyone! Happy Easter!
Is 35,000 or 40,000 miles too many miles to switch to synthetic?
