Didn't want to post this till i put the data together and let a few other people in the loop know what happened and how it happened ..
A few years back i had tried a fuel called Kox Ox in one of my Super stock cars .. Under the rules you can't use this fuel in the class i was running but i want to see if the claims were true ... One gallon is 38 dollars and you add 3 gallons of race fuel with it to make 4 gallons of fuel .. You have to go up 3 to 4 jets sizes and retard timing 4 deg on a car with a carb .. Well on a bike like the ZX14R we would fatten it up with a p/c and pulling timing with a retard box ... I didn't have either of those items so i tried what i thought would work , I used VP116 fuel to slow the burn rate down and fatten up the engine ... So one gallon of KOX OX and 3 gallons of VP116 ... The idle went from 1100 to 1800 so i knew i was on to something here ... On my car it picked up 3 tenths of a second in the 1/4 mile and i was shocked by that ..
What would it do in my ZX14R ? Well Thursday night i gave it a shot , i'm so weak from being in the hospital, so i was unsure if i could ride the bike so i turned the riding over to a friend that has very good skills and weights in at 145 .. He has made many passes on a turbo zx14 so power is not a problem for him ..
Right off the trailer 8.44 ... three passes later 8.32 @ 169.22 !!!! On the 5th pass the motor let go ... Kicked number 4 rod right out of the cases and.oiled down the top end of the track .. He don't go down but it was a very very close call .. So the bike is ok but for a hole in the block .... It cost me a motor but i now have the fastest stock motored ZX14R ever ..Don't do this to your bike !!! If you do and blow your shit up don't blame me ...

lol guys, i'm sorry i have way too much time on my hands from being stuck in the house after being in the hospital .. A little stir crazy i guess .. I love a good joke and being April First i just couldn't pass on it ..

The only part I found questionable while reading it was that you threw #4 and not #3.
