Anyone Used the Michelin Pilot PURE
Just curious if any has used the Pilot Pure 190/50/17... I was wondering if this would be a good tire say between the Power 1 & Pilot Power... Looking for hard straight line(LSR) street/ little drag strip use..

I use the pilot pure 190/50/17 since 2 years on my bike. Is not a ZX14, it's a ZX9R Turbo 200+whp and i went two times to LSR over 200mph with this tire. They have a good grip on the straight. My bike is a street bike 99.99% on the street. I never went to the drag strip with the pilot pure.

Just put pure on my turbo busa, did 2200kms last week on them mostly in foothills riding pretty hard with a few mates,
grippy sides, gave a lot of confidence cornering ,
the harder centre section is good hot , did not wear very fast , but wheelspins cold
my bike is +3 and lowered a little , good tires lift the front, not so good just spin,
I like these for what i'm doing, but i think may not suit drags , and probably try and run warmers for lsr
Kawi how is that turbo 9 doing, used to look forward to your updates on PB

My buddy has pilot pures on his gsxr750. They're finally wore out after 6000 street miles, 2 track days and about 50 dragstrip passes. I'll be trying them out on my 14r in June before the road America track day.
