2012 owners need advice
I have recently decided to get a 2012 14. I'm going to transplant everything I can off my 06. things I know that will interchange are the swingarm, sidewinder, nos set up. does anyone know if the oil pans are interchangeable? I have an Adams pan and would like to use it. also I notice some kind of wire going to the rear break or something. how would I get rid of it. I will be 73in wb and plan on doing away with the rear brakes as this will be a track only bike. also does anyone know if the springs and retainers in the head are the same size as the old models. I already have ape springs and ti retainers. just looking to gain knowledge of what will change over and what won't. still about 2 months away from purchasing the bike.

Oil pan will not work because of the oiler they add for the pistons. On less there is some kind of t fitting you can adapt.

Not sure you will need the pan .. I have my zx14r much much lower than my old gen 1 zx14 and still have not had touch down with the pan .. My header will hit long before my pan will hit .. If it does fit i would use it anyway .... Just saying ...

if possible I would like to use the pan just for the extra oil capacity. my Max wb will be 73. think the wire will stretch that far? hopefully by the time I get mine there will be a pc out for it. guess I need to call coby maybe he will know about the springs also.

If you chose to do the swap, ensure you get the motor kit. If you only get the motor, you must use your stock exhaust cam. If you don't the bike wll not start, the ECU's work with a specific cam trigger.....
