So this is not caused by too much oil? we should keep the glasswindow at half right?

Can someone elaborate on what causes this? Seems like Brock isn't making it a big deal, but looks like an awful lot of oil to me to just be "blow-by"

I had a small pond in mine when I pulled it appart. I honestly think it's the light weight oil. I pulled my filter and put it in like every 2 weeks over last summer and would have seen the oil.

I ran the <0 oil in the fall and I had about 1/4 of a quart in the air box I know it. Soaked it up with a towell.

what them goobers needed is the ram air pressure to push the oil into the bottle and intakes.. no ram air on a dyno.. but what you'll get is a brock's mod for $300.00.. hehe

ok, my turn, 2 Sunday's ago my bike lost 1 mph, didn't think anything of it, last Sunday I lost 2 mph, thought it was a clutch going, a few weeks ago the guy on the starting line said my bike left oil on the track, I didn't think anything of that, at the track last weekend I noticed a small spot of oil on my trailer.

Unloaded and the bike dropped another drop or two, I found the hose where it was coming from, it wasn't the one Brock said, it's the one beside it, My clear catch bottle is empty, I will remove my tank when I get home tomorrow and check the airbox, maybe that's where my 2 mph went

As stupid as that just sounded you may be right ... That bike has never been down the strip , just hours and hours on the dyno making maps ... Just checked mine and it's oil free at this point ..

Sure is ... My guess being a stroker motor it pushing more air out of the crank cases ..Seems to me that it had to be over filled to do that ..

also i don't remember how far the crank case breather tube goes up into the air box .. if it short..then with the bike on the kick stand it should return back down into the motor via the crank case breather when engine is off..

Sure you don't have clutch issues, I would think if you were losing mph from oil in the engine your pipe would show it to.

Wee, I made the mistake the first time I put an osr pan on and did not remove my hose and it filled my airbox in 3 miles and my pipe showed oil big time it was almost to the point of driping out of the exhaust.

Ya I was just saying if your mph fell off because you were sucking oil in the enging for a quick check tonight you could probably look at you exhaust and tell.

I just went and looked at mine .. The bottle brock show does go to the air box just like the gen 1 does .. NO oil in mine .. The other bottle ( black in color ) i have not clue where it goes .. I will have to do a little digging to see where it's coming from .. My black bottle had or has a very light coating of what looks to be oil .. The other two hoses , one from the coolant over flow and the other from the gas cap drain ..

And if it did you could take the air box off and clean it, just saying. but who would buy a busa they need a clutch mod!
