How can someone say anything about someone else's house when he lives with mommy?
All BS aside, I fell bad for you. You must really be a spoiled brat. Your parents must be proud of their favorite turd.

Don't get too excited about aftermarket air filters........My suggestion - do a dyno pull with the stock filters in place. Next, pull your filters out completely and do another pull, maybe 2-3hp? My suggestion would be to save your money and put it into the "cheapest bang for the buck known to mankind", a Muzzy 40 shot!
Cheers,
Cliff

Am not obligated to tell you anything! I am not 16, but 17 can't even read! If you don't like my posts..go play with yourself, your comments are not worthy of note......which one are you...dumb, dumber...or dumbest...can't decide betweeh wheelie, eklipse, or teddy bear....
BMC made the mistake of saying their filter would fit the 14r, they didn't know that there was an upgraded air box for the new bike....so it was their mistake..not mine. That is why you are idiots you can't read.......!!

Why do you continue to come on here and call people idiots when its clear who the idiot is. People on here tried to tell you that it was the wrong filter before you went and ordered it. They told you that the part # was the same as a gen 1 and it would not work. But know you had to run out and order it and then lo and behold after you get it it was the wrong filter. Then you were angry. There are alot of people on here that actually do there research on these products and may just know what they are talking about. Instead of talking shit to them just sit back and look and take in the knowledge

106 replies on an air filter that doesn't even exist....these children must not have much to do after school...maybe we can keep this subject going for the rest of the year....hope willie s computer doesn't crash...he is my favorite idiot..but has many followers. that's right it is after 3pm so school is out.....now the children who don't have marbles to play with can get on their computers and discuss air cleaners for motorcycles.

heres a pic of the OEM next to the BMC, the BMC doesnt have the metal screen that the OEM comes with either.

Here is the BMC installed it was a nice snug fit.

Actually the filter does exist now and a couple of members already have it installed

$98.25 plus shipping is a tidy sum to pay for a motorcycle air filter!

BMC claims that it has a 98.5% better filtering efficiency than the stock air filters.
I took almost a level tablespoon of dirt and sand out of my stock unit Saturday and only 3000 miles on the stock unit.
So, even if it only makes 1-2 HP, if it will keep harmful dirt out of those intake ports, it will be worth the cost.
My mommy ordered one for my dad's 14r, and one for mine....thanks Viper for your assistance.

Pass.
I am gonna do the suggested mod of cutting the screen off the stock filter, and I bet it'll have as much flow as the BMC does.

Cutting the screen is what I did, and it will probably add considerably to the flow of air, and less money......
This air filter site is so interesting it is on the main page here every day at the top, wonder if the children here can keep it operational to the end of this year...may be bigger news than the election! It has taken on a life of it's own....
Who do we have to thank for revitalizing it since May 2012?

I think he has a inside connection that we do not. It's ok, I'm going to continue to bust his balls on every stupid post/comment he makes.

i dont know bout more air flow even with the screened removed. when i was looking at both of them the factory filter def had more material and was "denser". The way i see its a little more expensive then the factory unit but its reusable so after the second or third time its more than payed for itself.

Good point over the long run it will probably pay for itself, flow more air to the engine, maybe just a bit more power...may be hard to feel it on acceleration but it makes sense more air makes more power....
