Want to Buy ZX-14
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Am looking to buy a mint to excellent condition ZX-14 that has been modified with performance and convenience accessories, garage kept, not raced each weekend on the drag strip, and owned by mature professional owner/rider.

2006 to 2011, I like Silver, Black Green and Black or a nice color combination. Full exhaust system, PC, risers, maybe HID lights, taller windshield, lowered is ok too....

Email me and tell me what you have and send pics too....

E mail me at: Goldwing.mann@yahoo.com

Am in Deltona, Florida near Daytona Beach Florida...

Thanks,

Ninjawarrior

Chain adjustment required after lowering?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Am going to install adjustable lowering links on my R-1, does the chain need to be loosened or readjusted if I drop the rear of the bike 1.5 inches?

What's next? "Am going to install adjustable lowering links on my Goldwing, does the chain need to be loosened or readjusted if I drop the rear of the bike 1.5 inches?"

____________
You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

Appreciate all your help here guys....I am just 16 and been riding bikes a couple of years, but my dad is in Afganistan and I got this new bike for my birthday for having a 4.0 average in school the last year. He has lots of tools in the home shop and I know how to use them pretty much but had a few questions on this new bike and I know it has lots of upgrades from past zx14's. He is not here to help me, so am kind on my own...so am trying to do the right thing.

So, am trying to learn as much as I can to begin upgrading it....don't want to race it, just have a great street machine that is safe and reliable. It is too tall for me, I am on my toes all the time, so lowering it is something I have to do.

Hope you will continue to give me some good advice as I will probably have more questions soon......

I am stil ltrying to figure out who's bike it is.

Don't know what his deal is but I know he is a pathological liar..... BMC does not have a filter for the 2012, they have one listed and he has one? That's pretty funny because after a phone call to BMC i was told the product will be released soon with no definitive date.... But he has one... Sure you do kid. Hey son stop the bullshit and get back on the short bus back to school.
Let me share something with you that is very good advice if you care to listen. " Do what you say, and say what you do... Once you are known as a liar, people will never trust you". With that being said, Congrats on Ignore button! Have read enough of your bullshit to last me a lifetime.

Goldwingmann is not a 16 YO kid, he recently bought some items from me and the transaction went smoothly. He did send me pics of his 2012 Green SE so he does actually have a ZX14r. He actually said I could post up the pics of his bike if I wanted to. I actually talked to him on the phone before the transaction occured. Seemed like a stand up guy to me.

I could care less about goldwingmans pictures, he's a fake, you don't come here or any other place and tell people your dad is in Afghanistan defending our Country, he has 2 user names, why? Because he is a phony, goldwingman can lie on another forum not here.

more to add, everyone here is pretty much straight forward, we may disagree every now and then but we are real, not some phony grown man acting like a 16 year old kid posting lies, goldwingman is a very strange person.
