BMC Race Filter for the 14R..got one!
Just found only one new BMC Race filter for the 14r...delivered Friday...83.00 includes shipping......
Now if I can just get a PC and Brocks map.........!
The Shorei Lithium Lightweight battery should arrive at the same time...hope it is about 9 pounds less than the stock unit.
Project bike should be done in about 10 days if UPS will not go on strike!
So far 49 pounds removed from stock weight.

I think it is BMC 46/04R......will check on that later and verify..don't hold me to that is from memory from late last night....

BMC must not have got the memo .. They are showing that P/N to be for the 2102 zx14r ..

Ok here is the official info on BMC Air Filters:
They make two for the 2012 ZX14r
FM466/04
FM466/04 Race
So you can choose from either of the two...the first is designed to replace the stock Kawasaki air cleaner.
the Race version is what we are all interested in, so if it does not have RACE at the end of the part number you are getting a stock type replacement.

won't fit, that is the part number for a Gen 1.

The stock unit measures 6x6x12 long at the bottom and 6 inches across at the top, 6 inches down each side...and one inch thick.

Just sent a scalding letter to BMC in Italy, regarding their web site being wrongly posted regarding the 2012 Kawasaki ZX14r air filter. They are assuming the 2006-2011 models are the same for 2012.....NOT THE CASE SO DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ORDERING ONE UNDER CURRENT PART NUMBERS POSTED ON BMC WEBSITE!
