We will have 60 pcv's in stock on Monday.
Also. Our exhaust customers receive our mapping, free of charge for as long as they own their exhaust, regardless of where they purchase their power commander.

Likewise, I'm wondering if the ECU reflash is better than the PC, IF you're going to set the bike up and leave it alone (As I am.). I know that won't support you through PC sales, but I'm all for cheaper and more comprehensive. I don't need the flexibility of changing the set-up. Will you also offer the reflash option, Brock?

As of right now the reflash isn't altering fueling, only timing, rev limits, speed limiters, etc., so you would still need a power commander to get the AFR right.

AT THIS POINT we won't be offering an ECU FUEL re-flash to match our exhaust systems... it just isn't something I can put my name on at my desired level of perfection.
We have spent the last 40+ hours creating/testing/tweaking to create only TWO PCV maps for the 14R: Street and Race for our Alien Head 2 and ShortMeg 2/ CT Meg, CT Single Dual and & Quiet Kore exhaust systems. We are currently comparing ‘flies in’ and ‘flies out’ mapping (you might be surprised at what we find...) with the Guhl ‘Brock Flash’ and stock ECU’s.
You simply cannot reach the superior level of accuracy and cell tuning consistency with ECU tuning that you can with a PCV and our Tuning Link software program. ‘More comprehensive’ is certainly not a term that should come into play from the fuel side of things. Removal of the high speed limiter is wonderful if you frequent 187 MPH and above and the extra 500 RPM is nice if you are a racer. It will also void your warranty in a heartbeat, so don’t let you buddies know you are sporting a modified ECU as dealers do ask these questions if you have a problem…
NOTICE: **+500 RPM IS PLACING MORE STRAIN ON YOUR ENGINE AND INCREASING YOUR CHANCE OF PREMATURE ENGINE FAILURE**
Don’t get me wrong, Guhl and I are great friends and business partners and I plan on selling piles of ‘Brock Flashed’ ECU’s directly from our site; I just don’t want people to be confused about what they do and don’t do for you.
No Power Commander at all is an option for some; although acceleration, peak power and drivability will suffer, no engine damage should be noticed from excessively lean conditions as was possible on previous 14s. The Guhl ‘Brock Flash’ does a great job of eliminating the need for speedo healers and TREs.

I thought I read somewhere that the 14R doesn't need a speedo healer if you change sprockets because of the way it reads speed over the Gen1...?

I'm a street rider, only. I'm more concerned w/drive-ability, low-mid power, and efficiency (Please spare the comments, folks. I ride/commute a lot.) So, will the re-flash eventually include a street-worthy mapping program? I like the extras it offers; the lower price; and less stuff on the bike. Or will the PC and your map always be better (In all probability, anyway.) for those same street purposes?
I'm not in a rush, per se. I want to wait long enough to get it right, then leave it alone. The less complicated and expensive it is, the better. Whichever way I go, I'd prefer get it from you. All has gone well so far w/the '06 and '12. I want that CT Smeg system to shine...on the street.
Thanks.
