ZX14 2012 vs full modified 2011 ZX10
Hi guys my brother has got a 2012 ZX14 and i drive a fully modified Zx10 mods: full ackropvic,flashed ecu, bst wheels, race cams and head flowed.
Me and my brother had some runs this morning....and was i surprised his stock ZX14 runs right next to me all the way...from 2nd gear roll on he keeps right next to me through all the gears....this is the first bike ever to keep up with my ZX10....
The 2012 ZX14 is deff by far the fastest bike on the road...
Man i was surprised!!

Cool.. now you know u don't want to race him when he puts a few mods in his ZX14... LOL

As soon as there some mods on that bike...i think then im gona have to sell my ZX10 and get myself a 14!!

Post up a picture of your ZX-10R please !!!!! I wanna see how it looks with the BST's on it

I am confused... for your brother to be right there in this roll on, either your bike is not as fast as you were told, or your brother really has a ringer zx14.
-full exhaust (not much gain there over a slip on)
-race cam (kawi drop in cam?)
-head flowed (who ported your head, is it a SS comp pkg)
-tune, what's your rwhp and does the dyno read high, low or fair?
A bone stock 14r after a good break in, according to Brock's web site with a Ghul ECU will pull 200, so minus for the high reading of around 195 to 198 +/-
My '11 zx10 pulled 183 with a slip on and ECU mod on a low reading dyno (Acme-Tampa)
Please provide more details.

Hi guys its my brother who has got the zx10 and me with the new 14. His zx10 makes 198hp on a dynojet dyno my modded 08 zx14 made 190 on the same dyno...his zx10 is very fast !! He has never lost to any 1000 here or 14 for that matter !! His bike is really fast ! I will be get my 14r on the same dyno soon to see what it makes ! And to add i weigh 114kg's and he is about 105kg's ! I was also really surprised by the way this new 14 runs did not expect to run with him. And ask RG the conditions here in south africa are not that great we are about 2500 meters above sea level !

Rickey Gadson can tell you guys what its like making a bike go fast here he has been here a couple of times and raced my cousin more than once....i have videos from our runs on sunday will try and make a plan to upload them....

Well i consider my ZX10 to be very fast as i weigh105 kg and ive raced guys with full modified BMW`s and alot of other bikes and usually the guys are alot lighter than me...and i have never lost a race.
-Full exhaust did make a difference
-Yes Kawasaki Cam
-rwhp on a fairly low reading dyno here...its a dynojet dyno and my bike made 198hp. bearing in mind we are about 2500m above sea level...
The new 14 is just a very fast bike..we raced a couple of other bikes the weekend including a BWM and not one bike could even come close to me except his new 14.

It doesn't hurt to have almost 50% more engine than those puny little liter bikes lol. Go big or go home

HP are very close, your weight is also close, the zx10 making that much power and being much lighter I would have thought it would jump ahead and stay there. I expected a slightly different outcome.
