engine mounts support
I am installing LSL sliders and the mounting bracket attaches the frame where I have indicated with the gold pointers in the photo. As you can see, the lower point that the brackets is an engine mount. I am planning to remove one engine mount while the other side is still bolted for support.
My question is: does the engine require any support if only one mounting bolt is removed at a time?
I broke the bolt free but I was afraid to damage the threads and/or have the holes misalign by removing the bolt.

One side at a time and you wil be fine .. If you feel the need you can use a small floor jack and a soft bit of wood to support it

Thanks, Smokin. I have always avoided supporting the bike under the oil pan even with wood---because I am afraid of denting the aluminum. Just the engine weight, that would seem not so bad but I would still rather not do it. In this case where just one bolt is removed and there are at least 3 other mounting points (i think it is 2 front, 2 back, total engine mounts) holding, I will do it just in case. I doubt the engine/frame will move at all.
Just wanted to make sure.
