I guess i spun a rod bearing , ME not the bike ..

.. Forgive my spelling ,.. As some of you already know i have been sick on and off for the last year or so .. Sat i fell sick again and ended up in the ER again.. Again this ER bushed me off and didn't do the right tests .. Now even sicker i had them take to another hospital 20 miles away .. 7 hours at the first ER and 10 hours at the second ER .. The second ER did the right tests and found out what was really wrong with me and not telling me it was all in my head like all the ERs and DRs i have seen in the last year .. My Gi Dr also fell short and was treating me for one thing and dismissed my other symptoms as me being a nut job ... What happened was my Gallbladder went toxic on me , from the tests they said it had been this way for a very long time ..They could not believe i walked in to the ER alive ..I have been trying for a year to get them to understand that i has sick just to have them tell me it was all in my head ... When they saw the CT and Ultrasound of my gallbladder I got put into the fast track surgery for Monday ...My Gallbladder was so inflamed and infected and had to come out ASAP.. After remove it they found it to be full of gallstones, i mean full like a sack full of driveway gravel., the two DRs had never seen anything this bad in years .They just couldn't believe i had been walking around like this for a year..

I just got home today ( Tuesday about 4 Hours ago ) with very heavy pain killers .. They tell me i should be back to 100% 2 or 3 weeks .. They are going to keep a close eye on me till then ..

Smokin ...

That's one profession where a lot of people are overpaid.

Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of great doctors out there, but some are there for the wrong reasons...

Glad to hear your Ok Smokin. I went thru similar thing for three years and ER finally caught it during ultra sound. They thought I had stomach acid or ulcers but I didnt have either. You will find after the surgery that you can't eat too much greasy food. Good luck Bro.

Sorry to hear you put up with pain like you did for so long because of a misdiagnosis but I'm certainly relived that they finally found out what was really wrong. Looking forward to heading down to see family in Brooksville and meet you in person. Here's to a speedy recovery.
