Hey guys, the fellow is my cousin. I got called right after it happened. This is what I concluded. He just got a guy to adjust his shock/suspension. They guy has his wife riding a nitrous Gsxr1000 and he set my cousins turbo bike the same. I thought the suspension is way to stiff but I guess that works great for some. He blames his gen 2 clutch saying they don't work well with a turbo bike. I kept asking more questions and got what really happen. This was his sec pass on the bike since having the suspension work. He set it at 105k and turned the throttle higher before releasing the clutch. Well when he did the clutch was already engaged at a higher rpm then what he is use to. I tried to get him to go to Baytown with me to test the bike on Fri before that Sun event. He declined. He has been thrown off 3 times by a turbo bike. The turbo will be taken off and sold now. He wants to go with nitrous. Also he still pretty new at the racing scene. Like a lot of u now its a learn experience and takes yrs to perfect. Im glad he is ok and is at least willing to get back on. But some have to learn their own way.

Mighty Mouse is coming back for more? If he is that determined it will eventually have to pay off. Hope to see him out soon. I was there at Baytown that Friday. What were you riding?

it's cheaper to ease up into a tune-up than to be to aggressive and pay .
its better to leave at 4k and bog than leave at 10k and flip.
Only one of these choices gets chance to make adjustments and try again.

Wee what's up.kaw jockey I rode out there late on a green 14. Which black 14 were u on. Were u the one that had looked like the gen 2 clutch talking to jamal. Or the other with the stock clutch and nitrous.

On that gen 2 he is supposed to be able to dump it. I think the suspension and him not being experienced at the higher rpm launch.

That's AFTER you get the clutch and suspension dialed in.
I would suggest he work his way up to a 8-10K dump.
It takes brave man with deep pockets do it the other way.
