bad wreck, LCD not working
I'll post some pictures. Was riding pretty fast on a turn and a green car got in my lane as I was dragging. Drifted until the tire was hitting dirt. Bike flew 10 feet in the air.
I love my bike and even though it looked terrible, i wanted to fix it. It's the only thing i really enjoyed doing. I've replaced the radiator, rear frame, headlights, new HID bulb kit, and bout to put on rearsets. Can't wait to order some fairings.
My ultimate problem is the CAN or cluster panel, because thatll cost me 500 easy.
I can't get the LCD to turn on or the led lights in the cluster (also no oil pressure gauge light) . I went the next day after the wreck to find the cluster panel and it was face down in some thorns. It rained the night of the wreck, bad. I can get the turn signals, Neutral light, and headlight lights to come on the screen and also blink. I have no power issues with any thing else other than this.
The speedometer looks fine but doesnt work and the tachometer is just plain out broke.
Any ideas on a hidden fuse or hidden ground that goes from the lcd to somewhere? The only thing i see that is odd, is there is a white plugin by itself in the dead center of the chassis with nothing plugged into it.
Thanks guys!

If you want anymore pictures to help out, let me know ill take em and post in a heartbeat, dieing to fix this.

I believe the connector you have arrowed & ???, is the PAIR valve connector. If you have blocked off or removed the PAIR system then that plug would remain unconnected. Nothing to reconnect there.. sorry. Doesn't really help with your other issues. I think you will be looking for a replacement meter for sure. What year?.. the blue suggests an 06?
Good luck finding the parts you need.

right on the money, an 06. Ya I'm having a hard time finding a low priced cluster too. I just need this screen to work so i can see the temp gauge. Thanks i feel better bout the connector now.

Ya those parts are insane too, cheapest was 485 just for the meter assembly. I finally have everything together and I'm going to spotweld my left rearset in the morning. Only thing left is my right side fairing and this darn cluster. Here she is, after 2 weeks from the wreck.
used my old blue fairings, was recently full black until wreck.
